The Parent Association is a private body whose main purpose is to maintain and enhance the interests of the school and students. The Association is managed by a Board of Governors.
The interests of all parents at the school level are represented by the Parents’ Council, whose representatives are elected annually at the beginning of the new school year in each class. The Parents’ Council elects a chairperson and a deputy. A representative of the Parents’ Council attends the meetings of the Board of the School Association in an advisory capacity and in this way brings in the concerns and interests of the parents.
Parents are involved in project work and other school events, as well as cultural and sports festivals, theater and musical performances, and support the school’s maintenance.
They supervise sports groups and study groups.
