Dear School Family,
„The more we care for the happiness of others, the greater is our own sense of well-being.”
Dalai Lama.
A new school year is upon us.
Much has happened in the last few weeks: new classrooms have been built, the cafe-teria has been enlarged, and a new school management team has formed.
I speak on behalf of this team when I say that we are especially concerned about the well-being of the people who help shape DBST every day. Our goal this year is to listen to your needs and desires and be appreciative leaders to all of you. This is the only way in which we can create a po-sitive and effective learning environment for our students and be understanding to parents’ concerns.
These aforementioned people include not only the teachers, but also all the mem-bers of our administration (including clea-ners, canteen staff, bus drivers, coffeeshop barristers, our IT-team and our security). Without their daily commitment to the school, it would be impossible to initiate changes and implement new ideas. They are the engine of our school and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of these people for their past and continued support.
The coming school year will hold many challenges for us, which we can only over-come together. I hope that we will look out for one another and support each ot-her. We are role models for our students, whom we are privileged to accompany on their way to adulthood.
I wish you, dear students, dear colleagues, dear parents, dear DBST Family, a success-ful and healthy new school year. I am glad that you are here and that we are starting the school year 2022/23 together.
Best regards
