Board and school management are currently examining carefully the Kindergarten and school fees. The DBST is a non-profit organization but at the same time sustainable funding as well as future school projects must be ensured.
At the moment the financial impacts of the school closure are not foreseeable, as not only will the ongoing operating costs continue to accrue but enormous additional costs will arise as a prerequisite for reopening the school.
In order to be prudent with the school budget in the interests of the entire school community and all sections, an informed decision regarding any fee adjustments can only be made once the current crisis has been overcome.
